Let me introduce Faith Moraa and Jane Nyakerario from Kenya. They are part of a women group called Bosinya Women Group CBO. Together with Rema Agritech Ltd, a Kenyan Startup, they started to use of the climate smart and affordable multi-storey garden technology in the production of nutritious and quality African Leafy Vegetables (ALVs). The technology multiplies the available space/land by up to 10times (thus increasing production) while efficiently using water for irrigation i.e 40 litres of water per week.
They have now installed 10 vertical gardens (5 each)  in their farms and have successfully harvested their first crop of nutritious vegetables. Bosinya Women Group CBO needs 500 vertical gardens to increase the production of nutritious African Leafy Vegetables and further develop their farming in rural Kenya. The price for installing one garden is 50 Euros.
